I love samsung so much! I have three of them in my house. This particular model is satisfied. For me, there are some things can be improved. Owner instruction manuals and is not very good.

Sound is very good, but if you're looking for the most high-quality sound, you will need to buy a good surround-sound system (this is especially relevant, when you're watching a movie and want to get a theater sense).

Standard definition of the image is not great. Samsung picture quality no better than a lower cost models, such as the 720p's. Picture quality is nice with an HD signal.

Although the design is modern, I would rather lighter than the color of charcoal - as examples of gray or silver. I prefer to use the remote control, because the bottom of the front panel touch-screen buttons could have been better. Difficult to see, it is not comfortable to use, when I turn on the TV or adjust, such as volume.

Whenever I change the contrast setting, too often it was restored to the default level to the 100 maximum. In other words, it does not save the changes, I must reset the contrast try again later. Must also be noted that the menu itself is a bit complicated.

When I switch my DVD player to the TV signal source, via the menu, it often takes a bit long time - maybe 30 seconds to a minute I guess.

I really love to use the PIP function, but it is not in the remote control, and only in the menu.

Picture quality is great when you watch TV from a straight angle, but is not as good when you watch TV from a perspective point of view - like 20 or 25 degree angle. Picture tends to dim then.

Despite all this, I highly recommend this TV to others, who are looking for a big flat screen TV to see.

Great picture quality, but OTA reception problems - March 12, 2011

The first is positive: the setting is a piece of cake. Picture quality is cool, out of the box. Blu-ray disk player was absolutely gorgeous, my wife and I were simply "amazing!"

Now it's negative and why it was returned: Like a growing number of consumers (though few), my main source of entertainment (streaming), and Netflix's OTA (antenna) programming - primarily news and weather plus some network programming.

On that day, I received the set, it is quite stormy, so the (antenna) signal strenths were challenged. After setting is completed, including the initial channel scan, I started watching my normal favorites. When the signal to grow weak, it would become the "disoriented" and unresponsive. If I want to go back to the previous strong channel, no dice, it will not lock on. The only solution is to set the cycle "off", then "on" again, but the same thing will happen - not recovered. In contrast, my three year old Sony Bravia, in the same circumstances would be restored without too many intervention.

Thankfully, I bought the set from Amazon directly, and was able to return it without hastle and with a full refund. Return shipping was "on their nickel."

In short, this phenomenon has been recorded before, on this subject. A comment made about February 4 (I believe). If you are a cable or dish subscriber, this problem will not be an issue, I'm sure you will be satisfied with the performance of the product.

A solid TV. Very good pictures. Easy to operate Very lightweight. It is not thin as LED TVs, but not bad. This is my second Samsung HDTV and because that I have got the first one (and still have) satisfied. This is not a super expensive TV, for this, it provides excellent quality. I also love all the features it has. And it supports all of the input. It not only has all the different devices, game consoles, and other things, you may want to hook enough input, but I really like the network support. I just plug the network cable, look: It even found the home server and other computers sharing the media, I can now get directly access it from the television. Very good!
